British Stunt Register launches faster iOS and Android app with The Distance

The British Stunt Register (BSR) needed to overhaul its successful but aging digital directory for stunt performers. The mobile app and website, which connected industry professionals with performers, required a technical rebuild to improve performance, user experience, and add new features. They partnered with The Distance for application development to create a modern, maintainable cross-platform solution.

The Distance analyzed the existing system and built a new React Native app, integrating a middleware layer with BSR's WordPress backend for greater flexibility. The solution delivered a faster app with push notifications, PDF generation, and offline access. After launch, The Distance added a requested job notice board feature.
