A Displaydata Case Study
Tallink, the leading mini‑cruise and passenger transport operator in the northern Baltic, wanted to improve the look and feel of its on‑board shops, ensure prices matched its retail outlets in Sweden, Finland, Estonia and Latvia, and cut the time and cost of updating prices and promotions. To address this, Tallink selected Displaydata’s enterprise Electronic Shelf Label (ESL) solution, deploying Displaydata’s Aura and Chroma label ranges to support multilingual product info and dynamic pricing.
Displaydata’s centrally managed ESL platform (Aura 21/29/42 and Chroma 21R/29R/42R) lets Tallink update prices, promotions and dual‑currency information remotely and instantly, with two‑way communication to confirm accuracy. The rollout has produced a significant reduction in time spent on price updates, ensured 24/7 price alignment between ships and shore stores, enabled more shelf‑edge promotions, freed sales staff for customer service, and generated strong positive feedback from employees and customers.
