Orange Slovakia, the country’s largest telecoms provider with 2.8 million active customers, faced inefficiencies from paper price tags across its retail estate that were slow to produce, error-prone and not synchronised with online information. To support a store refurbishment programme and better align product and price information across channels, Orange Slovakia selected Displaydata’s digital pricing solution, including fully graphic electronic shelf labels (ESLs) and centralised software.
Displaydata’s ESLs—deployed with partners ProCam and Laurel KFT—were quick to install (under a few hours per store) and require minimal IT support, with battery-powered labels and simple wireless communicators connecting stores to headquarters. The rollout has refreshed 23 stores, enabled instant central price and promotion updates, improved responsiveness to competitor activity, reduced labour and paper costs, and freed staff to focus on customers, delivering both operational and visual benefits for Orange Slovakia.
