A Discovered Assessments Case Study
Metropolitan Property Management, a 60‑employee property management firm, found that many candidates who performed well in interviews lacked the skills or personality fit needed for the job, and too many were failing the Ability portion of assessments, leaving positions unfilled and creating time pressure on HR. To address this, Metropolitan engaged Discovered Assessments and began using its Hire Talent Behavioural and Ability assessments.
Discovered Assessments implemented the Hire Talent suite to evaluate roles such as Maintenance Technician, Administrative Assistant and Property Supervisor, integrating the Behavioural and Ability assessments into Metropolitan Property Management’s hiring process. The vendor’s assessments provided objective information beyond resumes and interviews, improving candidate quality and better matching skills and personality to job and team needs, helping to address prior skill gaps and reduce unfilled positions.
