Discover Assessments implemented a multi-step screening model that assessed applicants on English proficiency, logical reasoning, numerical aptitude, and sales aptitude, then used a one-third cutoff to move only the strongest candidates forward. This automated process reduced hiring time and the effort needed to review resumes, while helping Philips hire better-performing sales personnel. Philips later extended the approach to campus hiring and continued working with Discover Assessments across the Middle East, North Africa, Turkey, India, and Pakistan.
