Case Study: KP Entertainment (Luke Bryan) builds a revenue-driving mobile fan community and converts fans into paying subscribers with Disciple

A Disciple Case Study

Preview of the KP Entertainment Case Study

Helping American country music star to create a space to build closer relationships with over 400,000 of his fans

KP Entertainment, managing country superstar Luke Bryan, faced the challenge of converting a passionate but dispersed fanbase across social channels into one positive, revenue-driving mobile community. They partnered with Disciple to build a dedicated mobile community app that would centralize fan engagement, reduce noise from public social platforms, and recreate a modern fan-club experience.

Disciple launched the Luke Bryan app in July 2015 with features like exclusive premium content, live streams, an LBO Wall from Luke’s team, and direct/group messaging, plus commerce for limited-edition merchandise. The Disciple-powered community converted 60% of free trials to paid subscribers, achieved $16 average annual revenue per user, and sold out 50 premium guitars ($285) within 15 days (60% driven by a single post); the subscription model covers running costs and drives incremental revenue and deeper fan engagement.
