Manufacturing plant chooses Directive to modernize Time and Attendance system with Bio-Metrics solution

Astrocom Electronics, a manufacturing plant based in New York, was using an outdated Kronos time clock system that no longer met its needs. The challenge was to find an economical replacement that would modernize their time and attendance tracking for 125 employees. Vendor Directive was enlisted to find a solution.

Directive implemented Stromberg's Time in a Box with a Biometric Time Clock. This solution eliminated manual double-entry by integrating with ADP payroll, provided real-time reporting, and stopped buddy punching through fingerprint verification. The client reported that the system streamlined payroll processing and greatly reduced the number of man hours required. Directive's solution provided stability by moving the system from a DOS-based PC to a modern Windows environment.
