Serval is enhancing the preventive maintenance of its equipment with DIMO Maint OM

Serval, a family-owned producer of milk powders for young animals (85 employees, €12M capital) with nearly 1,000 assets, faced the need to modernize preventive maintenance, reduce response times, capture machine repair history and control budgets. To meet these goals, Serval adopted the CMMS DIMO Maint OM from DIMO Maint.

DIMO Maint migrated Serval from OptiMaint to DIMO Maint OM, deploying a mobile app and the OM Com web interface for about ten users and connecting the CMMS to the plant supervision system. The implementation created a structured asset database, enabled meter readings via flash/QR codes, automatic alerts and work orders, and clearer reporting; Serval reports a transparent migration with no data loss, faster work reporting, improved preventive maintenance and a measurable reduction in plant failures while better managing ~1,000 assets and outsourced contracts.
