Kansas City International Airport elevates passenger experience with Dimensional Innovations’ 317-foot LED display

Kansas City International Airport faced the challenge of creating a unified, tech-forward passenger experience for its new single terminal. The airport needed solutions that could support multiple airlines, simplify wayfinding, elevate accessibility for all travelers, and provide an educational tool for first-time and neurodiverse flyers. To address this, they partnered with vendor Dimensional Innovations for their expertise in airport and transit experience design and immersive technology.

Dimensional Innovations delivered a cohesive suite of digital and experiential solutions, including a 300-foot LED branding wall, a full-scale flight simulator, interactive historical exhibits, and digital wayfinding touchpoints. These solutions created a more intuitive, inclusive, and engaging travel experience. The measurable impact includes providing airlines with a flexible digital branding system and positioning KCI as one of the most accessible terminals in the country.
