Evel Knievel Experience recreates a 16-car jump with Dimensional Innovations

The Evel Knievel Experience sought to create an immersive environment where visitors could truly feel the spirit and energy of the legendary daredevil's life, rather than just learn about it. Their challenge was to authentically recreate his larger-than-life legacy, including a jump over 16 police cars. They partnered with Dimensional Innovations for museum exhibit planning and design, theming, and immersive technology.

Dimensional Innovations developed a 4D virtual reality experience that let visitors feel as if they were performing one of Evel Knievel's most iconic jumps, using a replica motorcycle, rumble effects, and wind machines. The solution also included interactive displays and a vast collection of authentic memorabilia. This approach was successful, with the project being recognized on USA Today’s Reader’s Choice 10Best New Attractions list and winning a THEA Award for Outstanding Achievement.
