City of Lee's Summit unveils 24-foot maple-leaf arches with Dimensional Innovations

The City of Lee's Summit sought to reimagine its downtown by creating a new walkable district anchored by a farmers market, which required an iconic outdoor structure for its Green Street Grove. The challenge was to artistically design and engineer a durable sculptural series of arches that would elevate the space. They partnered with vendor Dimensional Innovations for its placemaking and specialty lighting services.

Dimensional Innovations engineered and fabricated five custom maple leaf-inspired arches, ranging up to 24 feet tall. The solution included a metallic white finish and integrated programmable RGB lighting that transforms the structures into glowing landmarks at night. The result for the City of Lee's Summit is a signature architectural feature that anchors the district, creating a vibrant hub for community gathering and celebration.
