Children’s Health of Orange County launches a touchless coloring wall with Dimensional Innovations

Children’s Health of Orange County (CHOC) sought to create a positive and accessible distraction for young patients waiting for appointments at their new Heart Institute. They partnered with Dimensional Innovations to implement a touchless, interactive solution that would be engaging yet easy to step away from when needed.

Dimensional Innovations designed and installed a hands-free interactive coloring wall in the main lobby. Using motion-tracking technology, children wave their hands in front of the screen to fill custom CHOC-themed illustrations with color. The solution provides a fun, sanitary activity and also doubles as a digital display for hospital announcements. Dimensional Innovations delivered a reimagined patient experience that successfully serves as a positive distraction for children and families.
