Vigo County School Corporation increases board member engagement with Diligent Community

Vigo County School Corporation, serving more than 13,000 students in West Central Indiana, needed a better way to manage board meetings, documents, and communications while improving engagement with trustees and the community. The district also wanted greater transparency and easier access to information for board members, stakeholders, and the media, especially as leadership changed.

Diligent implemented Diligent Community, a board management and public transparency solution, to centralize agendas, documents, notifications, and meeting information across devices. As a result, Vigo County School Corporation reduced administrative time, improved communication and access to information, and increased board member engagement and public transparency, with media and community stakeholders now able to easily subscribe to updates and find relevant records.
