Suncorp Group calls on Diligent to deliver paperless convenience and security to group-wide Boards

Suncorp Group, a major Australian and New Zealand financial services conglomerate with more than nine million customers and 14,500 employees, faced growing inefficiencies as the volume of board materials increased across its many subsidiary Boards and committees. In 2012 the Group decided to move from mixed paper and legacy-portal distribution to a single, easy-to-use, secure paperless solution that preserved the familiar look-and-feel of printed packs while supporting annotation, archiving and stronger compliance controls.

Suncorp selected Diligent Boards and rolled it out via a soft launch with training and 24/7 support, leading to rapid adoption by directors and management. The change cut Secretariat administrative hours and stationery and courier costs, enabled instantaneous, secure global delivery and harmonised review time, supported remote working, and reduced the risk of lost confidential materials through device wipe and centralised access controls.
