The Municipality of Resolute Bay, a small Inuit hamlet in Nunavut, Canada, needed help modernizing its highly manual meeting preparation and citizen engagement processes after gaining reliable internet access. It also had to meet a legal requirement to publish translated meeting minutes in Inuktitut, and it turned to Diligent Community to help digitize governance workflows and improve public access.

Diligent implemented Diligent Community to streamline agenda and meeting management, add Inuktitut publishing support, and improve transparency for residents. The results were smoother meeting preparation, easier online publishing, greater community awareness, and public subscriptions to meeting notifications; the municipality also said the process became “a pleasure now,” and it is now exploring features like workflow management and livestreaming with Diligent.
