Case Study: Swish Maintenance achieves unified, scalable cross-border communications with Digium Switchvox

A Digium Case Study

Swish Maintenance - Customer Case Study

Swish Maintenance, a Toronto-based sanitation and manufacturing company, opened 24 new locations across Canada and the U.S. in nine months. Rapid growth exposed the limits of their outdated NEC PBX—separate phone numbers, long-distance charges, no IP voice—and they needed an affordable, scalable unified communications solution to centralize calls and improve cross‑site connectivity.

Golden Integrated Solutions deployed a Digium Switchvox (Asterisk-based) UC system at headquarters, adding PRI at Toronto, MPLS (T1/E10) links between sites, DSL at the warehouse, and Digium HD IP phones and SIP softphones. The implementation centralized communications, enabled ACD/queues, call recording/reporting and Find Me/Follow Me for teleworkers, delivered easy scalability as the company grows, and was completed slightly under budget.
