Martin Healthcare Group (MHG), a multi‑location healthcare services provider with over 100 staff and hundreds of remote contractors and affiliates, needed to replace a failing 25‑year‑old Toshiba PBX. MHG implemented Digium’s Asterisk‑based Switchvox, deployed and supported by local provider N2Net, using IVR/call trees that still route callers to live receptionists, SIP trunks, voicemail‑to‑email, mobile features and call queues. The solution delivered in‑house control, lower long‑distance charges, continuous after‑hours coverage, easier administration and a better patient experience, leaving the IT team relieved and satisfied.
