InfoSnap, an Austin-based provider of online registration solutions for over 600 schools, was facing rising telecommunications costs and limited internal resources to manage an onsite phone system. After five years with Cypress Communications their monthly bills had doubled, bandwidth and network stability were in question, and they needed a stable, flexible hosted telephony solution that would integrate with proprietary systems without adding IT burden.

InfoSnap moved to Digium Cloud Services’ hosted Switchvox UC solution, deploying 120 Digium HD phones and working through network and configuration upgrades. The Digium cloud setup delivered full UC features (HD voice, IVR, voicemail, presence, queues) with end-to-end management and easier customization, cutting InfoSnap’s monthly communications spend by about 50% while improving reliability and scalability.
