Greenberg & Co., a boutique commercial law firm in Connecticut, opened a satellite office in Tortola, BVI to grow its international practice but found its aging Nitusko/NEC phone system couldn’t support a multi-tenant office, high-volume international calling, mobile/remote access, customizable call rules, or reliable call quality. The firm needed a flexible, web-centric VoIP solution that would allow receptionists to route calls seamlessly between Connecticut and Tortola, support concurrent conversations for multiple firms, and scale without costly proprietary hardware.

Working with NETiMAGE, Greenberg & Co. deployed a Digium Switchvox AA65 running Asterisk, 25 Polycom phones and SIP trunks to provide browser-based switchboard control, voicemail-to-email, mobile/softphone access, and economical international calling. The result: crisp, reliable voice quality across devices and locations, the ability to handle roughly 1,000 calls per week, measurable call reporting, lower long‑distance costs, and an easily expandable system that meets both current needs and future growth.
