Netcare Access, a mental health and substance abuse crisis intervention provider in Franklin County, Ohio, needed a faster way to manage patient intake and medical records. Paper forms and handwritten notes slowed access to care, forced duplicate paperwork for returning patients, and made it difficult for 24x7 staff to retrieve information quickly. Vendor Digitech Systems provided the ImageSilo cloud-based information management service, with scanning support from reseller Fireproof Records Center.

Digitech Systems implemented ImageSilo to digitize intake packets and centralize secure electronic patient records, giving staff instant access from any location while protecting PHI and supporting HIPAA compliance. The result was a dramatic reduction in intake time from more than 20 minutes to just seconds, saving an estimated 4,167 hours annually and about $44,148 in labor value per year. Netcare Access also reduced copying and faxing costs, improved emergency response access to records, and freed up storage space for other uses.
