Making Patch Management and Order Reconciliation Autonomous with ignio

Woolworths, Australia’s largest supermarket chain, needed to streamline complex IT and supply chain operations across more than 1,000 stores. The retailer was dealing with risky, manual pre- and post-patching processes for its server estate, as well as order drop and data mismatch issues across its SAP-integrated replenishment systems that affected store operations and customer experience. Digitate’s ignio™ AIOps and ignio AI.ERPOps were used to automate these critical workflows.

Digitate implemented autonomous patch management and proactive order reconciliation to reduce manual effort and improve reliability. ignio handled pre- and post-patching tasks for about 3,700 servers, cutting patching cycle time by 50% and saving 75% of effort per month, while also improving application availability. In order replenishment, Digitate’s solution reduced order-related incidents by about 10 per day and saved approximately AUD 0.25 million annually in operations costs.
