Case Study: Anglia Ruskin University Achieves ISO 27001 Certification with DigitalXRAID

How ARU were able to deliver learning services to the 7Forces Police consortium with an ISO 27001 certification

Anglia Ruskin University (ARU) needed ISO 27001 certification to meet contractual requirements for partnering with the 7Forces police consortium and delivering Policing Education Qualifications Framework (PEQF) courses securely. To achieve this, ARU worked with DigitalXRAID on an ISO 27001 managed service supported by guided expertise and security consultancy.

DigitalXRAID carried out a risk assessment and gap analysis, helped ARU strengthen documentation, policies, processes, and controls, and supported the university through a two-stage UKAS-certified audit. The result was ISO 27001 certification on the first assessment with no non-conformances, enabling ARU to deliver learning services to police officers and strengthening its ability to pursue future partnerships and research opportunities.
