Anglia Ruskin University achieves ISO 27001 with DigitalXRAID in 11-day audit

Anglia Ruskin University (ARU) needed to achieve ISO 27001 certification to meet a contractual requirement for its partnership with the 7Forces Police consortium, which was delivering Policing Education Qualifications Framework courses. The university required a secure information management system to assure the consortium of its capabilities. To meet this challenge, ARU engaged the cybersecurity services of vendor DigitalXRAID.

DigitalXRAID provided expert guidance and support throughout the entire certification process, conducting an initial gap analysis and implementing the necessary framework. Following a two-stage external audit conducted over 11 days, ARU was awarded its ISO 27001 certification on the first assessment with zero non-conformances. The successful outcome allowed the university to securely deliver its learning services to the police consortium.
