Digital Realty Trust partnered with a large East Coast hosting provider that needed a new, higher‑power‑density data center with a nonstandard physical design. Because this was a high‑visibility strategic initiative, the project required multiple sales engineering, design and construction team members and frequent senior‑executive engagement to align requirements and finalize the layout.

Digital Realty delivered a 21MW Build‑to‑Suit Powered Base Building®—working with construction partner KDC—to complete the powered shell on schedule while the customer finished the interior to its product design. The collaborative approach accelerated deployment and produced a custom facility that meets the customer’s higher‑capacity requirements, delivered on time and on budget.
