T-Systems Improving Performance With a Fast, Agile and Secure Data Centre Solution

T-Systems, the global end-to-end ICT arm of Deutsche Telekom with 47,800 employees and three data centres in Singapore, needed to deliver a dedicated, secure data centre platform for a major client within a year. The tight timetable was compounded by the need for a ready, spacious facility that met strict security audits, high reliability and remote monitoring of power and temperature.

T-Systems selected Digital Realty’s Jurong facility, which delivered a multi-generational, modular data centre in March 2014—within the required timeframe—without major setbacks. The deployment includes suites delivering up to 720 kW of IT load, four cages in two suites with cold-aisle containment, and enhanced security and certifications that allowed the site to move from disaster recovery to primary status, improving T-Systems’ speed, agility and service reliability.
