MOBITV is an app-based pay-TV distributor that streams live, on-demand and recorded TV to multiple devices without set-top boxes. To scale nationally while keeping costs and latency low, the company needed secure, carrier-grade proximity to CDNs, telco providers and MVPDs, plus redundant connectivity to ensure reliable delivery of content from major networks.

MOBITV partnered with Digital Realty to deploy a three-site, nationally redundant data center footprint, including an Atlanta POP linked by dark fiber to the 56 Marietta connectivity hub and a Sacramento redundant site, with private circuits and direct carrier/CDN access. The result is low-latency, carrier-grade streaming for 350+ networks, improved accessibility to content providers and MVPDs on the East Coast, and scalable, cost-effective growth without set-top boxes.
