Macnica Leverages PlatformDIGITAL® to Power AI Innovation

Macnica, a global service and solutions company focused on semiconductors and cybersecurity, needed an on‑premises verification environment to host NVIDIA DGX H100 GPU servers for its AI TRY NOW PROGRAM. Its prior facility couldn’t meet the DGX H100’s high power, redundancy and future scalability requirements — including support for direct liquid cooling — and Macnica sought a colocation partner near its Tokyo headquarters that could handle higher energy demands and long‑term expansion.

Macnica migrated to Digital Realty’s PlatformDIGITAL sites (NRT10, NRT12 and KIX13), which are DGX H100‑ready, modular, liquid‑cooling capable and campus‑based for rack‑by‑rack or large‑scale growth. As a result, Macnica doubled rack density (from 12 kW to 25 kW in a 2‑rack setup), established a more robust verification environment for customers, benefits from 100% sustainable energy certificates and Digital Realty’s high‑availability infrastructure, and gained the scalability and future‑proofing needed to expand its AI services.
