Interxion Underpins Live Broadcast Workflow for Riedel Networks GmbH

Riedel Networks provides high-performance, Cisco-based MPLS networking for media and international enterprises, used by customers such as RTL Group to transmit live HD television feeds (including Formula 1) and to connect sites worldwide. Their challenge was to deliver secure, highly available, low-latency services with strict SLAs and QoS while offering broad local access options — requiring carrier-neutral, high-density data centres with redundant power, 24/7 operations and flexible capacity.

Riedel partnered with Interxion in Germany, Austria and Belgium to colocate MPLS hubs in carrier-rich facilities, rent secure cages with redundant power, and use Interxion’s Hands & Eyes and Cross Connect services. Access to 600+ carriers and Interxion’s high-performance infrastructure gave Riedel the connectivity, availability and scalability needed to support live broadcast workflows, expand services internationally, and rapidly meet growing customer demand.
