Interxion Supports Axians' Move into the Cloud

Axians, an Austrian enterprise IT provider, wanted to expand its hybrid cloud offerings but needed a data center partner that could deliver high availability, strong connectivity, and a secure, cost-effective environment. Digital Realty, then operating under the Interxion brand, provided the colocation and cloud-ready infrastructure Axians needed to support this move.

Digital Realty implemented a scalable colocation solution with access to around 90–100 carriers and ISPs, the Vienna Internet Exchange, layered physical security, and 99.999% power availability backed by redundant systems. As a result, Axians reported no power outages or SLA breaches over more than eight years, giving it the reliability and connectivity needed to grow and launch new cloud services.
