A Strong European Base for International Wholesale Solutions Provider BICS

BICS is a global leader in international wholesale voice and mobile data solutions, serving about 800 customers (roughly half mobile operators) and operating around 100 PoPs worldwide. Facing a fragmented European market and the need to deliver optimized, scalable wholesale connectivity and LTE roaming services to operators across many metro areas, BICS needed a way to simplify access to customer and partner communities while expanding its European footprint efficiently.

BICS colocated PoPs at Interxion connectivity hubs in Brussels, Copenhagen, Frankfurt, Paris, Vienna and Zurich and put in place a colocation resale agreement, gaining carrier‑neutral access to major Internet exchanges and a large community of connectivity providers. The partnership optimized connectivity for customers in and near Interxion data centres, made expansion across Europe easy and cost‑effective in line with demand, and strengthened BICS’s ability to attract and serve mobile operator customers.
