GS1 cuts Salesforce licensing costs and serves 7,300 companies with Digitalist Group

GS1 Finland, a non-profit organization supporting supply chain management, sought to provide more user-friendly client services while also confronting high Salesforce licensing costs associated with their existing customer portal. They partnered with Digitalist Group to develop a cost-effective, user-managed digital service portal solution.

Digitalist Group implemented the OmaGS1 portal using a headless architecture with Next.js and integrated it with an open-source Keycloak system for identity management. This solution significantly reduced licensing costs and streamlined the user experience. The new portal provides customers with a single point of access to manage company information, services, billing, and support, while its seamless integration with Salesforce ensures real-time data synchronization.
