The Federal Home Loan Bank of Atlanta was struggling with a traditional waterfall approach that produced long release cycles, scope creep, poor portfolio visibility and roughly 250 open production defect tickets. To drive an Agile transformation and improve transparency and quality, the bank adopted Digital.ai’s VersionOne as a core planning, tracking and reporting tool alongside new governance and sprint practices.
Digital.ai implemented VersionOne across teams in concert with Agile practices—IT Governance Committee prioritization, Product Owner teams, WIP limits and a disciplined sprint cadence—providing real-time dashboards, burndowns and metrics. The results were dramatic: open production tickets fell from ~250 to 15–20 (about a 92% reduction), collaboration and transparency improved, projects have been delivered on time and within budget (all tracked “green” for eight months), and leadership gained reliable, actionable reporting to intervene early when needed.
