Multinational Financial Services Holding Company worked with Digital Shadows after discovering a phishing site impersonating its brand. The threat posed a risk to customer credentials, revenue, and reputation across its investment banking, private banking, and asset management businesses. Digital Shadows SearchLight™ was used to detect the spoofed domains.

Digital Shadows analyzed the fake sites, confirmed they mirrored the client’s login page, and identified two phishing domains that were harvesting credentials. The company then provided takedown guidance and URLs, and enabled Managed Takedown Service to remove the spoofed domains. As a result, the phishing sites were taken down, reducing the risk of fraud and brand misuse.
