Southern California Edison (SCE), the primary electricity provider for much of Southern California, needed a reliable GIS platform to manage and verify massive amounts of property data for acquisitions, right-of-way, government lands and title work. With too much disparate data slowing projects and the need to quickly confirm ownership and boundaries, SCE adopted LandVision as its single source of truth in 2008.
LandVision lets SCE aggregate, analyze and export parcel data, create buffers, generate mailing lists and bring shapefiles into base maps, while Digital Map Products provides ongoing customization and support to fit SCE’s GIS workflows.
