PostTrack launches IoT asset tracking in 6 weeks with Digital Dividend

PostTrack partnered with Digital Dividend to develop a robust IoT asset tracking device. The challenge was to create a low-power, reliable hardware solution that could track high-value assets in real-time while balancing limited battery life, managing system complexity, and enabling remote updates and maintenance after deployment.

Digital Dividend engineered the Ptag2 device using ARM Cortex M0 microcontrollers and C/C++ for high performance and power efficiency. The solution provided real-time geolocation, Firmware Over-the-Air (FOTA) updates, and remote configuration. This resulted in enhanced security for physical assets, reduced maintenance costs through automated updates, and provided a scalable foundation for PostTrack's tracking ecosystem.
