Genesee Community College digitizes 4 labs with Digitail

Genesee Community College's Veterinary Technology Program faced the challenge of running its educational clinic on outdated paper-based systems. Using handwritten SOAP notes and disconnected filing systems across four separate labs was consuming valuable faculty time and failing to prepare students for the digital workflows of modern veterinary practice. To address this, the program implemented the Digitail veterinary practice management software (PIMS).

By adopting Digitail's cloud-based PIMS, the college digitized all records across its four labs and automated its lab results. Zoetis analyzers were integrated to feed data directly into the system, eliminating manual entry and associated errors. This solution saved faculty time and, most importantly, now prepares 15-20 graduates annually to be workforce-ready from their first day, as they are now fluent in the technology used in real-world clinics.
