Intac Actuarial Services, Inc., a provider of full-service plan administration and consulting for employer-sponsored retirement plans, was growing rapidly and struggling with an increasing volume of paper client files. As the company expanded, office space was filling up, and telecommuters made it difficult to quickly locate documents when customers called with questions. Digiscribe helped address this challenge with document scanning and cloud document management services.

Digiscribe implemented a solution that outsourced the scanning and indexing of 500,000 pages of legacy files to its facilities and stored them in the ImageSilo cloud repository, integrated with Intac’s CRM system. Intac also used a Kodak i260 scanner and PaperFlow capture software to scan new documents in-house and upload 15,000–20,000 pages per month. The results included eliminating 20 file cabinets, improving access to client files from anywhere 24/7, speeding response times, enhancing customer service, and reducing the risk of lost documents.
