Educational Alliance, a 125-year-old New York City nonprofit serving more than 50,000 New Yorkers across 18 locations, was struggling to manage overflowing paper HR files for over 600 employees, many of them seasonal. The organization needed a better way to onboard new and returning employees, provide remote access to documents, and speed up audits, so it turned to Digiscribe for document scanning services, cloud document management, and workflow automation.

Digiscribe digitized and indexed more than 1,900 multi-page HR files, integrated file data with Educational Alliance’s ADP payroll system, and implemented FileBound On-Demand with e-forms and remote access. The result was immediate access to HR records, automated data sharing that eliminated manual entry, onboarding time cut in half, improved audit response, and the elimination of 11 file cabinets and multiple storage boxes, freeing valuable office space.
