Companhia de Electricidade de Macau (CEM) needed to enhance the electric vehicle charging service experience in Macau in response to the government's green mobility policy. The utility company partnered with the digital agency DigiSalad to design a mobile app that would address this challenge and offer a more convenient solution for EV users.

DigiSalad implemented a sophisticated UX and UI design for the CEM EV app. The solution allows users to find and navigate to nearby charging spots and features a cardless charging flow where users scan a QR code to initiate charging and pay via an in-app wallet. This streamlined process eliminates the need for physical cards and in-person status checks, making the entire charging process smarter and more convenient through a single application.
