Crayola implemented mobile-friendly lightbox pop-ups that require a birthdate at opt-in to block under‑13s, using the same approach for newsletters, back-in-stock alerts, and cart abandonment. The solution drove strong engagement: up to a 5.99% conversion rate on mobile opt-in forms and a 22.71% conversion rate for the Colors of the World back-in-stock modal.
