Mowi launches first end-to-end food traceability platform for seafood industry, powered by EVRYTHNG

Mowi, the world’s largest producer of Atlantic salmon, needed a way to unify data from multiple farming and supply chain systems into a single, searchable source of truth that could be shared with consumers. The company wanted to launch a transparent, end-to-end traceability experience for its salmon products, and Digimarc’s platform, used here through the EVRYTHNG solution, helped make that possible.

Digimarc implemented a connected product packaging and analytics solution that harmonized Mowi’s supply chain data, linked each product to a digital identity via QR code and GS1 Digital Link, and gave consumers access to full lifecycle traceability on their smartphones. The result was batch-level visibility, stronger quality control, real-time scan analytics, and greater consumer trust, with Mowi aiming to drive brand loyalty and increased sales through improved transparency.
