YIT identifies 36 AI use cases with Digia

The customer, YIT, Finland's largest construction company, sought to accelerate its use of artificial intelligence to enhance digitalization and efficiency across its business. To address this challenge, YIT engaged the vendor Digia to utilize its AI Roadmap service, aiming to identify and prioritize concrete AI applications.

Digia implemented its AI Roadmap concept through a series of workshops, which identified 36 potential AI use cases and resulted in a prioritized plan. The immediate result was the launch of four concrete AI projects, with two moving into implementation. Beyond these projects, a significant benefit was the creation of a cohort of internal change agents, which accelerated AI discussions across the organization. YIT reported that Digia's expertise and ready-made concept delivered substantial benefits with a minimal time investment from the customer.
