TUfast Racing Team sets fastest lap times with Digi ConnectCore 6UL

The TUfast Racing Team, a student team from the Technical University of Munich, required a powerful and lightweight telemetry system for their electric racecar to compete in the Formula Student competition. They selected the Digi ConnectCore 6UL single board computer from Digi International to power this crucial system.

Digi International's solution provided the ideal off-the-shelf integration capabilities and interfaces needed, which accelerated the engineering design process. The result was the eb018, the lightest-ever four-wheel-drive electric racecar in the competition's history, which set the fastest lap times at events in Hockenheim, Barcelona, Silverstone, and Australia, and won the overall competition.
