Monster Media manages hundreds of cellular displays with Digi International

Monster Media, a full-service digital out-of-home advertising company, needed a quick-to-deploy, scalable, secure, and reliable connectivity solution for its interactive displays in venues worldwide. Using existing Wi-Fi, wired WAN, or satellite connections presented problems with reliability, cost, and installation time. To solve this, they turned to Digi International.

Digi International implemented a cellular solution using Digi TransPort WR21 cellular routers on a Verizon 3G network, managed via a Digi VPN concentrator and Digi Device Cloud. This allowed Monster Media to securely manage hundreds to thousands of displays remotely, update content, monitor system health, and collect performance data in real time. The result was a highly scalable and secure system that improved operational efficiency and enabled proactive customer service, solidifying Monster Media's industry leadership.
