MicroPower deployed its SOLVEIL HD solar-powered camera platform paired with a Digi TransPort WR21 cellular router to provide redundant 3G/4G/LTE connectivity and multi-carrier failover. The system delivers high-resolution video up to half a mile, runs for days on battery, and streams to a central hub, enabling remote condition assessment, fewer site visits, faster emergency response, improved personnel safety, and reduced operating costs—shifting the utility from mere situational awareness to actionable situation assessment.
