FELFEL, a Swiss food‑service startup, set out to “free people from mediocre food at work” by installing glass‑front, badge‑unlocked kiosk refrigerators that let employees grab fresh meals, scan items, and charge purchases to their accounts. Faced with unreliable tablet-based systems and the need for a responsive Android app, secure POS, and remote inventory tracking for sites often in isolated locations, FELFEL needed a compact, connected compute platform that would speed time to market and handle graphics, touch, and cellular connectivity.

Working with integrator Miromico and distributor Ineltro, FELFEL adopted the Digi ConnectCore 6 single‑board computer for its quad‑core performance, built‑in wireless/cellular options, display interfaces, and long product lifecycle. The solution enabled real‑time inventory and replenishment, reliable token‑based transactions, and rapid deployment — today FELFEL runs the system in 80+ locations across Switzerland and Liechtenstein and continues to expand, with Digi support helping resolve system issues quickly.
