STIHL, a global market leader in chainsaws and power tools, faced the challenge of transitioning its traditionally dealer-focused sales model to a modern digital omnichannel strategy. This required a new global e-commerce approach, a fortified IT infrastructure, and a new online presence capable of handling both B2B and B2C sales while navigating legal requirements for its products.

diconium partnered with STIHL to develop and implement a comprehensive global e-commerce strategy. The solution involved creating new B2C and B2B digital sales platforms on a content and commerce platform, which included UX design and service management. As a result, diconium successfully launched the new stihl.de online store ahead of schedule and established a scalable system that is being rolled out to 40 countries, strategically positioning STIHL for continued digital growth.
