A leading automotive OEM engaged Diconium to overcome the challenge of providing its engineering teams with secure, scalable, and traceable access to sensitive Electronic Control Unit (ECU) functions. The customer's existing manual process for issuing security tokens was inefficient and posed a significant security risk, necessitating a new PKI-as-a-service solution.

Diconium developed and implemented a secure, web-based PKI platform utilizing Microsoft Azure, Python, and React. This solution automated token generation, enforced role-based access control, and ensured security via on-premise Hardware Security Modules. The results for the automotive OEM were significant, with the system securely generating over 20,000 tokens, establishing 100% traceability, and enabling centralized access for engineering teams across five countries.
