Kaiser+Kraft, a leading European B2B mail order company for business equipment, faced the challenge of upgrading its digital presence. Its goals were to build an upgradeable B2B multi-client platform, create customer-oriented brand stores for a rapid rollout, and support the relaunch of its three separate brands. To meet this challenge, they partnered with the vendor diconium for a project involving software engineering and the SAP Hybris platform.

diconium developed an optimized and user-friendly webshop based on the Hybris B2B Accelerator. The solution included a fresh design, numerous new functions like a product comparison tool, and the refinement of 28,000 product records. The project was a major success, resulting in a flexible platform for 31 B2B online stores across 34 countries. The work won the Shop Usability Award in 2014 and the Swiss E-Commerce Award for "B2B Shop" in 2015, proving the solution enhanced the customer experience and provided a foundation for future growth.
