The customer, Galeria Kaufhof, a major German department store retailer, faced the challenge of relaunching its online store and developing a sustainable e-commerce strategy. Vendor Diconium was engaged to provide support with creation, consultation, and implementation for this relaunch project, which utilized the SAP Hybris technology platform.
Diconium implemented a holistic solution that transformed the shopping experience by seamlessly connecting virtual and physical retail. The new online store expanded the product offering from 3,000 to 40,000 items and allowed orders to be delivered or returned to stores. The project resulted in a significant reduction of incorrect orders and fostered stronger customer loyalty. Diconium's efficient project management ensured the ambitious deadline was met, delivering 657 online pages, 1,384 graphic elements, and 19,642 data records.
